Abstract
Objectives:
- Provide an overview of the key figures and publications:
- The 1960s-1970s "anti-psychiatry" movement
- The modern "critical psychiatry" movement
- Compare and contrast these movements
-Consider and (hopefully) discuss ramifications for clinical practice
- Be able to better anticipate/address patient concerns
- Perhaps even questions assumptions underlying your clinical practice... and change?
