Abstract

Objectives:

1. Understand the mechanism of action of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors
2. Gain practical knowledge of indications for ACE inhibitor use in the primary care setting
3. Be able to explain specific benefits of ACEi's to patients in various clinical scenarios
4. Know reasons to stop ACEi's
5. Have a general understanding of starting and target doses for indications
