Learning Objectives

• Know current protocols for medical management of early pregnancy loss (EPL)
• Understand some political and social context around mifepristone aka "the abortion pill"
• Critically assess and discuss the selected article by section
• Determine if and under what circumstances this article may apply to our patients
• Be able to discuss the clinical and political implications of a study like this
