Objectives
- Identify the supports and barriers of youth transitioning out of the North American foster care/foster home care systems.
- Describe occupational therapy’s current and emerging roles in life skills/IADL training with youth transitioning out of the foster care system.
- Describe the positive outcomes related to successful transitions into adulthood for foster youth.
