Objectives
- Understand the unmet needs of caregivers preparing to raise a child with a disability
- Explain current evidence-based interventions within the scope of OT practice provided to expectant caregivers
- Apply findings, while recognizing their limitations, to make informed decisions when supporting expectant caregivers
PICO: What are the interventions within occupational therapy scope of practice that improve preparedness of caregivers in the perinatal stage of parenting a child with a disability?
