Abstract
Overall Goals and Objectives:
1. To advance in our understanding of the basis for the development of pulmonary arterial vascular disease.
2. To have an overview of the rapidly advancing understanding of genetics in PAH.
3. To understand the association of genetics and physiopathology of PAH.

Dr. Ricardo Restrepo is a fellow in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Medicine of the Department of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Restrepo went to medical school in the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin Columbia. Dr. Restrepo's interests at a professional level include: critical care and pulmonary hypertension research. He enjoys mountain climbing and visiting natural parks, nature walks, movies and riding horses. He is interested in salvage and rescue training.
