Abstract
Overall Goals and Objectives:
1. Discuss common presenting symptoms of tracheal stenosis
2. Describe non-invasive and invasive techniques for confirming the diagnosis
3. Discuss the surgical management of tracheal stenosis.

Dr. Scott Cowan is an Assistant Professor of Surgery /Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In 2011, Dr. Cowan was awarded the Choice Award, Web based award. Dr. Cowan is a member of the Pennslyvania Association for Thoracic Surgeons and a Fellow of the Philadelphia Academy of Surgery. Some of Dr. Cowan's research interests include: post-intubation tracheal stenosis, innovations in thoracic surgery and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.
