Abstract
Objectives:
1. Become familiar with the clinical characteristics and persentations of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients in adulthood.
2. Understand the genetic basis of CF and the factors that influence disease variability and survival.
3. Discuss state-of-the-art care for CF patients, including standard and investigational therapies.

Dr. William Sexauer is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia. He transferred from Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Sexauer is a member of the Athenaeum Honor Society. Dr. Sexauer's research interests are cystic fibrosis in adults with lung disease and respiratory lung diseases.
