Doron Schneider, MD is Vice President for Population Health at Tandigm Health. He joined Tandigm in June 2020 after spending 23 years at Abington Health as a practicing internist, educator and Chief Safety and Quality Officer. He led that system using the principles and science of high reliability to multiple regional and national recognitions for performance excellence, quality and safety. Nationally Dr Schneider has been active with the American College of Physicians (ACP) as a national faculty member in their quality improvement programs. He has also actively engaged with the IHI, ABIM, NQF, ASHRM, and AAHE on various projects and programs to advance performance excellence. Dr. Schneider has a passion for diabetes and serves as the Section Editor for Quality Improvement Stories in the journal Clinical Diabetes. He lives in Montgomery County, PA with his with his wife, 4 kids and 2 dogs and enjoys playing tennis, hiking and biking with his family and friends.
