Abstract

Learning Objectives

1. Define neurodivergent, neurotypical, and neurodiversity
2. Identify where the concept of neurodiversity came from
3. List how Neurodiversity stance differs from out "medical model"
4. Conceptualized strong medical model and neurodivergent movement as being on a spectrum, and consider the benefits of keeping ourselves on that spectrum
5. Identify some of the potential ways we can incorporate the spirit of neurodiversity into our practice (with one take away)
