Abstract
Learning Objectives
- Define neurodivergent, neurotypical, and neurodiversity
- Identify where the concept of neurodiversity came from
- List how Neurodiversity stance differs from out "medical model"
- Conceptualized strong medical model and neurodivergent movement as being on a spectrum, and consider the benefits of keeping ourselves on that spectrum
- Identify some of the potential ways we can incorporate the spirit of neurodiversity into our practice (with one take away)
