Dr. Newberg is Director of Research at the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Radiology, Thomas Jefferson University. His research has focused on the relationship between brain physiology and various neurological and psychiatric conditions, as well as how spirituality, religion and language affect the brain. He is the co-author of Words Can Change Your Brain and several other popular press books.
