Andrew Newberg, MD is Director of Research at the Jefferson Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine, and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Radiology, Thomas Jefferson University. His research has focused on the relationship between brain physiology and various neurological and psychiatric conditions, as well as how spirituality, religion, and language affect the brain. He is co-author of Words Can Change Your Brain and several other popular press books.
