Abstract
Overall goals and objectives:
1. Identify recent advances in integrative medical care and discuss their application to clinical practice.
2. Describe the latest data on complementary and alternative medical therapies that could improve patient outcomes.
3. Discuss core integrative medicine topics that patients frequently ask physicians about.

Dr. Bazzan is Co-Director of the Myrna Brind Center's Great Life Program, a comprehensive medical and lifestyle intervention based upon his popular press book, The Great Life Makeover (Harper-Collins). He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, and is a national expert on integrative treatments for menopause, andropause, and osteoporosis. Dr. Bazzan also is a co-investigator on the Vitamin C cancer trials that are done collaboratively with the Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center. .
