Overall goals and objectives:
1. Identify recent advances in integrative medical care and discuss their application to clinical practice.
2. Describe the latest data on complementary and alternative medical therapies that could improve patient outcomes.
3. Discuss core integrative medicine topics that patients frequently ask physicians about.

Andrew B. Newberg, MD.is Director of Research at the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and Professor of Emergency Medicine and Radiology, Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Newberg is and international expert on neuro-imaging, and is a pioneer in the field of neurotheology and the neuropsysiological correlates of religious experiences and spirituality. He has had several best-selling books, and he will be presenting selected topics from his most recent one, Principles of Neurotheology (Ashgate)
