Learning Objectives

- Appropriately distinguish between the terms of sex, gender and sexuality
- Appreciate the nature and fluidity of gender as a conceptual construct
- Understand the traditional roles of the Hijra, Fa'afafine and Two Spirit cultures
- Determine how gender roles and identity affect intra community relations
