Candidates for Jefferson’s Doctor of Health Science in Population Health (DHSc), in partial fulfillment of their degree, conduct applied dissertation research projects using rigorous quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Each learner’s project culminates in a public oral dissertation defense showcasing their content expertise and analytic capabilities. Projects align with the students’ areas of interest within population health. Students routinely publish abstracts and peer-reviewed journal articles based on their work during and after their defense.
