The goal of Dr. Crawford's presentations is to define the information in an integrated manner to provide knowledge attained through clinical research studies which gives concepts for future therapeutic approaches. The audience will gain an understanding of androgen biosynthesis relating to prostate cancer as well as hormonal therapies and their prognostic implications, by which to define androgen deprivation therapy for both androgen-sensitive and insensitive disease state. Also, they will gain an increased understanding of targeted focal therapy in the management of early, state, organ confined prostate cancer and selection of appropriate patients for this unique therapy.
