Abstract

PICO: Does alternative seating in the classroom for children with attention difficulties improve overall classroom performance?

Objectives:

At the conclusion of the session, participants will...

1. Understand the impact of attention difficulties in the classroom
2. Appreciate the significance of alternative seating in the classroom and the need for OT intervention in this area
3. Discuss at least two effective seating interventions used within the classroom for children with attention difficulties and how they can be applied in clinical practice
