Abstract
Objectives
- Identify the current best practices regarding scar management for the various diagnoses that receive mastectomies.
- Describe the connection between post-mastectomy surgery, scar management, and quality of life.
- Employ occupational therapy interventions that represent best practice in the management of scars post-mastectomy to improve quality of life.
