The Jefferson Center for Infection Prevention and Antibiotic Stewardship was launched in 2019. The Center aims to leverage the knowledge, expertise, and perspectives of the Jefferson community and beyond, by building dynamic networks to discover new ways to tackle problems of infection prevention and antibiotic resistance. Located within the Jefferson College of Nursing, the Center serves as a platform for infection prevention (IP) and antibiotic stewardship (AS) collaborative education, research, and practice initiatives.
