Dr. Bruce Meyer - President, Jefferson Health, Senior Vice President, Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Health Dr. Meyer serves as Jefferson Health’s clinical leader to ensure that Jefferson delivers high-quality and safe patient care, while enabling the successful transformation of Jefferson Health into a single, integrated system with a seamless and consistent patient experience. As senior executive vice president, Dr. Meyer works closely with Jefferson leadership to advance the organization’s mission across the academic, clinical, innovation and philanthropy pillars of its enterprise. Dr. Meyer has received numerous awards for his work, including the UHC Rising Star Award in Quality and Accountability; the Press Ganey Pinnacle Award of Excellence in Patient Experience (five years in a row); and the National Center for Healthcare Leadership’s Best Organizations for Leadership Development Award. He is the author of more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, has won numerous teaching awards, and served as a residency program director, fellowship director and clerkship director. Dr. Meyer earned his medical degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, completed his residency and fellowship at UT Health Science Center at Houston and received his MBA from the University of Tennessee.
