Dr. Restrepo is a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University. He will be graduating from the program in June, 2013. He will further his studies at the University of Pennsylvania doing a one year research fellowship in pulmonary arterial hypertension. Dr. Restrepo's interests include respiratory disease and pulmonary hypertension.

Abstract

Objectives:

1. To advance our understanding of the definition of surrogate end-points and its utility in clinical research.

2. To have an overview of the surrogate end-points used in PH research.

3. To analyze the validity of the PH related surrogate endpoints.
