Abstract
Overall Goals and Objectives:
1. List the intra-procedure challenges that may be performed during pulmonary artery catheterization.
2. Become familiar with how these intra-procedure challenges are performed.
3. Recognize the significance of the information derived from these intra-procedure challenges.

Dr. Michael Scharf is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Scharf holds these appointments at Jefferson: Director, Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program and Director, Pulmonary Outpatient Services. In 2008, he was awarded "Top Doc" Magazine. Dr. Scharf's interests are in pulmonary arterial hypertension and pulmonary diseases.
