Abstract
Overall Goals and Objectives:
1. To understand the role of EBUS in the diagnosis of hilar and mediastinal adenopathy.
2. To understand the role of EBUS in the mediastinal staging and re-staging of non-small cell lung cancer.
3. To understand the role of EBUS in the diagnosis of sarcoidosis.

Dr. Francisco Almeida is a newly appointed Staff Member in the Department of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care at the Cleveland Clinic. He is also the Director of the Interventional Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship Training Program at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Almeida completed his Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. His special interests are benign and malignant central airway diseases, carcinoid syndrome, endobronchial manifestations of systemic diseases, lung abscess, lung cancer, lung nodules, and pleural effusion.
