Abstract
Overall Goals and Objectives:
1. To identify the acute and chronic pulmonary complications of sickle cell disease.
2. To identify patients at high risk for pulmonary complications.
3. To understand treatment options in patients with sickle cell disease and pulmonary complications.

Dr. Elizabeth Pulte is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine/Division of Hematology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In July of 2011 Dr. Pulte transferred from UMDNJ. Dr. Pulte's interests are in non-Hodgkin lymphoma, older adults with multiple myeloma, patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and sickle cell anemia complications.
