Abstract
Dr. Rita Axelrod is Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medical Oncology and Department of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. She is also the Director of the Jefferson Oncology Group and Mentor of the Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship. From 2005 through 2010, she was awarded "Top Doc" in Philadelphia Magazine and she was also awarded "Outstanding Clinical Award" from the Kimmel Cancer Center Castle Connelly. Her research interests are the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic, head and neck cancers.

2. To be familiar with molecular characteristics of non small cell lung cancer that influence treatment
3. To be familiar with evolving strategies in treatment of lung cancer for adjuvant therapy and maintenance therapy.
