Abstract
Objectives:
1) Learn the indications and contraindications to bronchial thermoplasty.
2) Develop a basic understanding of the controversies about, and the barriers to, the use of thermoplasty.
3) Understand the peri-procedural care and follow-up of patients who receive bronchial thermoplasty.

Dr. David Manoff is currently a fellow in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at Jefferson as well. Dr. Manoff is a 3-time recipient of the JeffHOPE physician of the year award and that the award is now named after me. I'm also the recipient of a Gold Humanism Society "Gold Card" for humanism in medical teaching. I've presented at national conferences including SCCM and the American Academy for the Advancement of Science. My clinical interests include sepsis, teaching of bedside procedures, improvements of transitions of care, and medical management of massive GI bleeding.
