• Recognize the treatment burden and mental health impacts of cystic fibrosis (CF).
• Identify Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as an effective therapy for mental health issues in individuals with chronic illness, including ACT with CF.
• Interpret the findings and implications of the ACT with CF randomized controlled trial.
