Abstract
Objectives
At the end of a one-hour discussion, students, residents, and faculty will be able to:
- Provide a definition of "public and community psychiatry"
- Describe ways in which community-academic partnerships can benefit community organizations and their patients, as well as academic departments
- Discuss specific benefits to exposing trainees to a variety of community-based models of care
