• Emphasize the direct and indirect health implications of climate change on communities worldwide.
• Explore ways in which climate change affects mental health and why patients with psychiatric illness are particularly vulnerable to climate change.
• Provide strategies for psychiatrists to integrate climate-aware approaches into their practice.
