Abstract

Objectives

1. Identify the neuropsychiatric symptoms of thyroid disorders, including hypo- and hyperthyroidism
2. Define and be able to identify the symptoms of myxedema psychosis
3. Understand the importance and components of thyroid function work-up in patients with affective and/or psychotic symptoms
