Abstract

Medical Affairs (MA) plays a vital role in the emerging future of the medical device industry. Today MA encompasses strategy, safety, communications, post-market clinical trials, medical and clinical field teams, and an ever-expanding role in innovation, market access, and commercialization strategies. This work will provide an overview of MA approaches and processes that can be readily utilized to address the established need for more outcomes-driven decision-making, focused on stakeholder value stories of improved economic and patient outcomes.
