Abstract

1. Identify recent advances in integrative medical care and discuss their application to clinical practice.
2. Describe the latest data on complementary and alternative medical therapies that could improve patient outcomes.
3. Discuss core integrative medicine topics that patients frequently ask physicians about.

Dr. Yang is a physician, psychiatrist, and leading international expert on classical forms of Chinese Medicine. He uniquely incorporates psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, neuro-emotional technique, acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine in the care of patients with a variety of emotional and physical illnesses. Following the family tradition, he is a fourth generation teacher and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), specializing in acupuncture.
