Abstract
Objectives
Following this activity, successful participants will be able to:
- Apply emerging biomarkers to improve the identification and tracking of patients with atherosclerotic risk
- Review the evidence linking the gut/microbiome to cardiovascular risk
- Compose personalized treatment plans and new diagnostic strategies to evaluate inflammation, oxidative stress and immune activation in clinical practice
