Goals and Objectives

- Identify recent advances in integrative medical care and discuss their application to clinical practice.
- Describe the latest data on complementary and alternative medical therapies that could improve patient outcomes.
- Discuss core integrative medicine topics that patients frequently ask physicians about.

Dr. Newberg is Director of Research at the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health and Professor of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University. He has conducted a number of research studies on a variety of integrative medicine topics ranging from Parkinson’s disease to concussion, insomnia, creativity, and many others.
