Description
1923 graduate of Jefferson Medical College. Insrciption reads, "Chief Resident, 1924-26." David Metheny served his internship at Jefferson but went on to residency at the Mayo Clinic and a surgical career in Seattle, Washington. He was Chief of Surgery at Kings County Hospital ; also a major force in the organization of the School of Medicine of the University of Washington.
