Description

View from a corner of the Upper Amphitheater on the fifth floor of the 1898 College Building. The room was often referred to by students as "The Stadium." "Its sides sloped as precipitously as a cliff -- much to the discomforture of the unwary. [...] Comfort could not be secured in any seat, no matter what position was tried" (Clinic, 1929). In the center of the pit stands the famous operating table rehabilitated by Dr. J.C. DaCosta.
