Objectives

1. Provide an overview of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality rates in Philadelphia
2. Describe Centering Pregnancy as a model of group prenatal care
3. Highlight evidence for Centering Pregnancy and describe how this model improves maternal and neonatal outcomes
4. Identify other forms of group care through the Centering Institute
5. Discuss Centering Pregnancy at JFMA and future directions
