Abstract

Objectives

• Describe and explain the current understanding of climate change according to the experts cited in the presentation
• Recognize specific climate drivers, weather events, exposures, health outcomes and their impacts on populations
• Demonstrate how structural and social determinants of health and vulnerability affect outcomes in the context of climate change
• Begin to examine critically the roles and obligations of physicians in response to the impacts of climate change on health
