Abstract

Objectives:

Discuss the most common types of substance use in pregnancy and their impacts on the fetus.

Discuss some counseling techniques and other therapies we can offer our patients

Gain an understanding of the recommendations

Discover the resources we have in our area

Understand how we can apply this to our patients

Understand how this impacts us as Family Medicine physicians.
