Abstract
Learning Objectives:
- Know the diagnostic criteria for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and how it differs from other anxiety disorders
- Treat GAD with appropriate medications in the primary care setting
- Have an appreciation for the use of benzodiazepines in the treatment of GAD
- Be able to know when and how to safely wean patients off of anti-anxiety medications
