Objectives:

• Understand the natural history of diabetic nephropathy
• Slow down progression of end stage renal disease in diabetic nephropathy based off the best available evidence.
• Know when to refer to endocrinology and nephrology
• Appraise evidence for patient-centered v. disease-centered outcomes
