By the end of this lecture, the learner will....

• Understand the basic anatomy of the parotid gland
• Identify and treat infectious, noninfectious-inflammatory and noninflammatory parotid diseases
• Be aware of the typical presentation of benign versus malignant neoplastic parotid tumors
• We will not be covering: Pediatric parotid disease
