Stephen K. Klasko, MD, MBA, was appointed President and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University and the Jefferson Health System in 2013. Prior to joining Jefferson, he served in a series of leadership positions including Dean of the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida, Chief Executive Officer of USF Health, Dean of the College of Medicine at Drexel University and CEO of Drexel University Physicians. Dr. Klasko received the bachelor of science degree (BS) in chemistry and biology from Lehigh University in 1974; the doctor of medicine degree (MD) from Hahnemann University in 1978; and master of business administration degree (MBA) from the Wharton Executive Program of the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. He is board certified and actively practicing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
