Selected Works of Vittorio Maio, PharmD, MS, MSPH
Dr. Maio is Associate Professor in the Jefferson School of Population Health. He holds a PharmD from the School of Pharmacy, University of Perugia, Italy, and a Master of Science in Pharmacology and a Master of Science in Public Health, both from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. He is principal investigator on multi-year collaborative projects funded by various Healthcare Authorities in the Regione Emilia-Romagna, Italy, mainly looking at the assessment of the quality of care in inpatient and outpatient settings. He lectures on health policy issues in the School’s graduate programs and at the University of Pisa, Italy, School of Economics, Master’s Program in Management of Health Care Organizations. He also teaches Pharmacoepidemiology in the Master of Science Program in Pharmacology at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Maio is a reviewer for JAMA Internal Medicine, Lancet, Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, and Drugs & Aging.. He is Associated Editor of the American Journal of Medical Quality.
