Abstract
Medical access ports (MAPs) are implanted devices often used for intravenous administration of chemotherapeutic agents or contrast agents for CT or MR imaging. Improper MAP usage poses risk of catheter rupture; hence, proper identification and usage are essential. We demonstrate an approach for MAP identification based on their unique radiographic imaging features.
