Speaker Biography
Dr. Mark Lyles is vice president of ACMQ and serves as Chief Strategic Officer for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Clinical Enterprise. In this role, Mark is responsible for setting MUSC’s organizational priorities and for implementing new payment models between MUSC and governmental and commercial insurance companies. Mark also manages MUSC’s telemedicine, health promotion/wellness, population health, and strategic planning departments.
Mark earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency at MUSC; he completed a fellowship in quality management and managed care at the University of Pennsylvania Health System; and he earned an MBA in healthcare management from the Wharton School.
