Abstract
Purpose
The Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) administered in medical school have increased in importance with the elimination of USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS)1, 2. The purpose of this study is to understand the association between student performance on an end-ofthird- year OSCE and the relevant Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Internal Medicine (IM) Milestone 1.0 sub-competencies: Patient Care (PC1 and PC2) and Interpersonal and Communication Skills 1 (ICS1 and ICS2).
