Dr. Gerard Criner is a Florence P. Bernheimer Distinguished Service Chair, Department of Medicine, Professor and Chief, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Director, Medical Intensive Care Unit and Ventilator Rehabilitation Unit Co-Director, Center for Inflammation, Translational and Clinical Lung Res. His clinical interests are advanced lung disease (COPD, emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, respiratory failure) and critical care medicine.
