Abstract

Dr. Bharat Awsare is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine/Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has been a two time teacher of the year from the Department of Medicine. He won the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence. His clinical interests include mechanical ventilation, ventilator associated pneumonia, hepatic pulmonary syndromes, and chronic thromboembolic disease.
